Join the English Drama Club to grow as a performer and storyteller. Members take part in SYF, school performances, and exchange programmes to build confidence and teamwork.

The English Drama Club is a vibrant community of storytellers, performers, and technicians. We believe that theatre is more than just "acting", it is a journey of self-discovery, teamwork, and building the confidence to lead.

Key Programmes

a) Singapore Youth Festival (SYF)

The English Drama Club actively participates in SYF Arts Presentation, a biennial showcase of excellence in the performing arts. We attained the Certificate of Distinction in 2025 after months of rehearsal.

b) School Performances

We take centre stage during school celebrations such as Speech Day and Teachers’ Day and put up special performances such as a forum theatre experience for the school community.

c) School Exchange @ St Andrew’s Secondary School

In 2025, we took part in an exchange programme at St Andrew’s Secondary School, during which we exchanged ideas and received constructive feedback on our craft and performance piece. Through this experience, we gained a clearer understanding of how our artistic choices impacted the overall performance and how we can improve them.

CCA Training Information

Every Wednesday: 3.30 – 5.30pm (to 6pm during SYF prep)

Every Friday: 2.30 – 5.30pm
