Boys' Brigade
Find out how the Boys' Brigade at Yusof Ishak Secondary builds character, fitness, and leadership through activities like adventure camps and community service.
The Boys' Brigade CCA in Yusof Ishak Secondary is also known as 1st Singapore Company. We seek to develop our boys to grow in character, to become responsible citizens, to improve physical fitness and develop their leadership potential.
This is achieved through a range of activities covering the four domains of Physical, Enrichment, Spiritual, and Social.
With the support of our committed Teachers and Officers, our boys will mature to become men who are sure and steadfast, ready to be leaders for tomorrow.
Key Programmes
a) Adventure Camp:
A 2D1N camp that promotes the spirit of adventure and discovery through expedition and campcraft practiced in an adventure setting. Highlights include field cooking, pitching of improvised shelter and navigation.
b) BB CARES:
Boys organize and interact with beneficiaries from Bright Hill Evergreen Home where they grow through community service.
